Barb Suttie Retrospective exhibition
Barb suttie (1958-2023) was an Australian landscape artist with a deep connection to the Tweed Valley. Her work was influenced by her many years as a resident of Uki and Murwillumbah, as well as the talented artists she trained with. Barb’s style ranged from traditional landscapes to more abstract interpretations, focusing on her love for the region, along with inspiration from her travels.
She was a recipient of multiple awards and was featured in several editions of the Australian artist magazine, as well as in books and TV series. Her work is held in both public and private collections in Australia and abroad.
Barb’s sons, Nathan and Adam, invite the public to share in the beauty of her work in her retrospective exhibition, which will run from 6/12/2025 until 4/1/2026. The exhibition opening will be held on Friday 5 December, from 4pm – 6pm. All are welcome.
