Blue Jean Sisters workshop with Belinda Smith

Gallery DownTown is hosting its first workshop and we invite you to join in as we celebrate International Women’s Day on Friday 8 March. Share conversations  while crafting with artist Belinda and sew a denim doll for inclusion in the exhibition, A Fierce Hope at Adderton House, in Brisbane later in 2019.

Blue Jeans Sisters aims to create 2000 handmade dolls to raise awareness of modern slavery with the project inspired by social enterprise Outland Denim who employ and train women who have been impacted.
