A huge industrial warehouse and classic art deco building in Murwillumbah is being transformed into M-Arts Precinct – a vibrant place where artists and art lovers can come together over great coffee, drinks and food.
We are building quirky studios for artists, with many already occupied by exciting artists and many more still planned – these are open to the public every Wednesday.
Our gallery regularly hosts exhibitions by local and visiting artists and we run a diverse and interesting range of workshops.
Established and aspiring artists can buy all of their supplies at Yellow Brick Studio which is located within M-Arts Precinct.
Later in 2018, the Tweed Regional Gallery & Margaret Olley Art Centre will have a dedicated space upstairs at M|Arts to display some artworks from the collection, and feature exhibitions by artists of our region. Soon visitors will be able to linger at the Precinct to soak up the atmosphere over a drink or two when fitz+potts open their fabulous bar. M|Arts Precinct is still a work in progress but there’s lots going on.
