A Marked Change in Form
c.a.s.e inc – Leora Sibony, Elaine Pollen, Pru Bleasdale, Sandra Rubbo, Rachel Dun, Annique Goldenberg, Tali Cohen-Flantz, Carolyn Delzoppo, Shelly Anfield, and Mirna Barakat
5 February- 6 April
A marked change in form is the latest c.a.s.e members’ exhibition. Ten artists examine the potential of paper, exploring its versatility and embracing the challenge of its relative fragility and instability. The artists were each given ten identical sheets of 300 gsm cartridge paper and a brief to produce a three dimensional outcome from this two dimensional material.
The title references the varied physical acts applied directly to the paper through the individual creative process of each artist. It also reflects on the personal changes, adaptations and transformations experienced by each artist during the challenges of the past year.
A marked change in form is an exhibition representing the diversity of outcomes of each artist’s approach and practice, including painting, printmaking, drawing, installation, ceramics, molding, artist books, and mixed media.
