M-Arts studios is celebrating the end of the year with a very special Christmas Makers Market & Open Studio

Come join us for this special curated indoor market featuring Artisans, Crafters, & Makers from Northern NSW and beyond
hosted inside the M-Arts beautiful new warehouse & studio space under the historic Regent Theatre in Murwillumbah.

We think you’ll love this indoor market, it’s a fine split between vintage, handmade & incredible food. This is the ideal event to shop for something different this Christmas.

Bacaro Murwillumbah Restaurant opening – 3:30pm – 5pm

Bacaro Murwillumbah is opening its doors in the M-Arts Precinct from 11am, specialising in Italian food, wine and coffee.  Join Giorgia and Luca from 3:30pm for their opening event celebration as they offer you a taste of their typical Venetian style buffet.  Exquisite local and imported wines will be available for purchase to accompany your meal.

Gallery DownTown Exhibition opening – 5pm – 6pm

To mark the opening of the Tweed Regional Gallery’s new space, Gallery DownTown is pleased to present two new exhibitions. See some gems from the Gallery’s collection in Tetralogy: profiling the four collection areas featuring portraits, artist’s prints, ceramics and photography.

Ensemble: artists from our region showcases the work of some of the artists who have recently held exhibitions at the Gallery through our Community Access Exhibition Program. These works are for sale and highlight the talent of artists living on our doorstep.

M|Arts Gallery Exhibition opening – 5pm – 6pm

M-Arts Precinct is opening their summer exhibition ‘Metamorphosis’ at 5pm in The M|Arts Gallery.  “Metamorphosis’ will be featuring works by our talented resident studio artists –   Ben Smith, Wendy Powitt, Amelia Reid, Justin Ealand, Liana McCluskey, Lisa Arronis, Judy Oakenfull,  Mitchell Schultz, Arna Baartz,  Nikki Shipard and Jill Dawson.
